Accessing Open Library with EZProxy

If your library is in the In Library lending program, patrons in the library may already be able borrow books from our In Library collection.

If you have EZProxy, it's easy to set up access for remote patrons as well:

Add the following to your EZProxy config.txt or ezproxy.cfg file:

   Title   OpenLibrary

   URL     http://openlibrary.org

   DJ      openlibrary.org

You might be tempted to proxy archive.org. Don't!

Add a link like the following to your site:

<a href="http://ezproxy.your_library_here.org/login?url=http://openlibrary.org/borrow">Borrow from 200,000 eBooks on Open Library!</a>
