Edition Notes
The dialogues were found in Vasari's papers after his death and published by Filippo Giunti in Florence in 1588. They were reprinted with annotations in Arezzo in 1762. The final dialogue, reprinted in this edition, was intended to illustrate the stories depicted in the grand Salon of the Palazzo.
