A young movie director returns to his hometown to film a story by Haroldo Conti. There he encounters a ghost of his past: recently, a childhood friend has just committed suicide in mysterious circumstances. Almost involuntarily, the director begins an investigation into the death while planning his film. Hoever, both projects turn out to be more related than they appear.
