A reprint of Beza's fourth major edition of 1598. Only two variations occur in the Greek text; but some annotations have been added. The Commentary of Joachim Camerarius (or Liebhard, 1500-1574), the celebrated classical scholar and biographer of Melanchthon, was first published in 1552-56m 8vo., two papers.
Prefixed is, Typographus lectori; Beza's dedication dated 1598; Beza's dedication dated 1564; Beza's preface, 1598. Text followed by Index return.
Text printed in three parallel columns: with Greek, Beza's Laint version, and Vulgate. With marginal references and summary; annotations, etc.
Device, Alma Mater Cantabrigia, on the title-page is engraved on metal and bears the inscription W. Hollar fecit.
