Alberto Breccia’s experimental chiaroscuro captures the expressive faces of hardened prisoners, shell-shocked soldiers, and grotesque grave robbers; his atmospheric stories take the reader to eerie cemeteries, ancient Babylonian tombs, and the treacherous waters of the Atlantic.
