Tsewang Rinpoche), a Tibetan Buddhist lama in the Kagyu (Bkaʼ-brgyud-pa) tradition; includes information about the authorʼs childhood in Stod-lung Bde-chen Rdzong, Tibet, the founding of Bod-ljongs Nang-bstan Slob-grwa, the reconstruction of his home monastery, Gnas-nang Dgon, the recognition of the 17th Karmapa O-rgyan-ʼphrin-las-rdo-rje at Tshur-phu Monastery, his escape with the 17th Karmapa to India via Nepal, and his subsequent life and activity in exile.
