My maternal grandmother, mother and aunts were all excellent cooks and many of their recipes are presented in this volume. Being of farming stock in rural southeastern Ohio, they favored southern-style and Pennsylvania Dutch cooking practices. Also included are a few recipes of some noted chefs and are so identified when used.
