七十五年足，早已過了古稀，進入耄耋，各種配額漸次用完，原屬意料中事。很意外的是，對事物的興致，居然也會消失。這類配額用完，可說非同尋常，因為不是具體的一兩件事，而是對很多事，甚至所有事，一概都提不起勁來。這說明了什麼，代表了什麼，相信不必「畫公仔畫出腸」了。

任何事，若沒有了興致，勉強為之，必然吃力不討好，配額既然用精光，這「租界」，自然租借期滿了。

這次，不是倒轉空酒瓶，一滴也滴不出的事，而是連倒轉瓶子的興趣都沒有了！
