In 2010, a compilation of the Sadhanas practiced at Kunzang Gatshal, similar to this one, was offered to Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche for review. Shortly afterward, Rinpoche began editing the booklet, making corrections to mistakes as well as some slight changes when compared to the original text found in Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche’s collected works. Rinpoche also composed the title found on this book and mentioned that when completed, the booklet could be added as a volume to Rinpoche's collected works.
Although it appeared as if the editing was not completed, since a sublime being’s activity is always perfectly complete and only one such as Rinpoche has the wisdom or authority to edit and compile these Sadhanas, after careful consideration we decided it would be beneficial to make this sadhana booklet available to faithful students with Rinpoche’s edits and title as they are. However, so that this book may be used practically for Kunzang Gatshal’s daily practices, some formatting has been changed and a few additional prayers have been added when compared to the version Rinpoche edited.
Our intention was to prepare a book for practice by which, as Rinpoche says in the title, the hearts of faithful practitioners bloom. Though we did our best to make decisions and corrections for the most benefit, if any mistakes were made due to our inexperience and carelessness, we apologize and pray they be forgiven.
This was edited by Ogyen Chonyi Rangdol, proofread by the students of White Lotus School, and completed on the tenth day of the third lunar month of the Iron Ox year at Kunzang Gatshal, Always Noble Joyful Park. (April 22nd, 2021.)
May virtue increase!
