Der französische Philosoph Jean-Luc Nancy begründet eine Ontologie, die vom Sozialen ausgeht. Dieses Soziale ist kein bestimmtes Etwas (etwa Staat, Volk o.ä.), sondern es ist reines Mit-Sein in singulärer Pluralität; diesem Sozialen ist das Politische nachgeordnet. Insofern geben auch der Staat und staatliche Politik keine übergeordnete Instanz mehr ab.

Work Description

The French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy has established an ontology based on ‘social’ ideas. His concept of ‘social’ is not something concrete or clearly defined (e.g. the state, the masses, etc.), but is purely about being part of society in singular plurality; thus, politics is subordinate to that social concept. In this respect, the state and its policies no longer represent a higher authority.
