„Pietkong“ ist ein Schimpfwort für eine Gruppe von Studenten an der Ruhruniversität in Bochum, die ihre Aktivitäten sowohl als Evangelisation, wie als politisches Engagement entfaltet. Sie nennt sich seibst „Kohlenkellerklub“ und ist Bochums Pendant zur SMD. Über Werden und Wandel, sowie über das Selbstverständnis dieses Gemeindemodells erzählt die vorliegende Schrift.

Der Verfasser ist o. Professor für Mathematik und langjähriger Mitarbeiter der SMD. Er hat mit einigen Studenten zusammen im Keller seines Hauses die Basis für eine unkonventionelle Bewegung geschaffen.
