Cataloged 2015 jmoschella

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy imperfect: comprised of the first 319 leaves only. Halfbound in 19th-century brown morocco and black pebbled cloth. The spine is ruled in blind and stamped in gilt. All text block edges are stained blue. The gift plate of Theodore Parker, dated Oct. 31, 1864, is present on the front pastedown. The embossed stamp of the BPL is present on the first leaf. In-text capitals, two- and six-line initials, head lines, and rubrics are rubricated in red. Early marginalia, in various hands, is present throughout.

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy is the first of two items bound together in a single volume. The second item is Nicolaus de Hanapis' Auctoritates utriusque Testamenti (Strassbourg: Eggestein, ca. 1466) (ISTC no. in00103100). This item is cataloged separately.
