Social Problems in Kashmir like in other developing and modernizing societies, the Kashmiri society too faced a number of social problems which were of general, distinctive and complex nature. These problems have been identified, explained and presented here in the sociological framework which emphasized multi-dimensionality and totality of the social phenomenon. These problems were caused primarily because of implications of the processes of change, development and modernization.
