Binding, c. 2: goatskin. Both boards with 9 fillets in gilt and blind along margins, fleurons at corners. Centered on top board is gilt stamped double-headed imperial eagle, initials V B at either side of tail. Above eagle are initials P A Z L, below is date 1695. Centered on bottom board is gilt stamped vase with flowers. Green cloth ties at fore edge. Remains of gray paint on spine. Page edges sprinkled red. Leather marginal tab marking start of 2nd work.
On front free endpaper of c. 2 are written initials A.S.V.I.D. Blurred property stamp on t.p. includes name Monasee.
