Added engraved t.p. for 1st pt. and engraved t.p. for 2nd pt. by Lambert Visscher. Port. of Ferdinand von Fürstenberg by Abraham Blooteling, and of Theodor von Fürstenberg. Includes etchings by Romeyn de Hooghe (a few by J. de Broen or Johannes de Ram), most of them after Johann Georg Rudolphi. The [10] leaves of plates represent 5 double-page ill., 3 of them maps of the diocese of Paderborn. Woodcut in-text ill. Publisher's device on main t.p. (Minerva). Head- and tail-pieces, initials.

Includes indexes.

Binding: modern goatskin, tooled in blind. Title & date on spine label in gilt.

Inscribed on back pastedown by Leonard Baskin: Timothy Trace [bookseller], 1971; with Baskin's initial B written after signature letter L, again with date 1971, and with his printed labels for Fort Hill and Lurley Manor on front pastedown.
