As far as I know the earliest publication of this book by James Everett was 1858, the 100th anniversary of Samuel Hick's birth. It is a biography of his life, how he came to be inspired by his faith in God, and devotion to Methodism. Incidentally every record of his life records his birth as 1758, but John Crossley, the Micklefield historian has seen the parish register and his true year of birth is 1757.
