40 lines in 2 columns, Gothic type red and black; musical notation black on red priinted staves.

Title page has small woodcut of pope and six bishops; Giuntine printer's device in red on title and at end; one full-page woodcut of Crucifixion, facing fol. 1; 3 1/3-page woodcuts (90x168mm) at head of each of 3 parts (fols. 1, 101, 171); 162 woodcuts (55x80mm) illustrating bishops aand retinue in liturgical actions; woodcut initials of varying sizes.

Mortimer Harvard Italian 383 describes thiis fourth Giunta edition. This copy has D4-5 uncancelled.

Contemporary sheep over wooden boards (modern backing by Donald Taylor) tooled in gilt and blind.

Cancelled bookplate, removed by Donald Taylor, of the Virtue and Cahill Library.
