"Vicente G. Quesada," a biographical sketch: verso of 1st prelim. leaf in each vol.

Compiled from papers written before 1884, most of which were published, as independent studies, in the "Nueva revista de Buenos Aires," some signed by the author, others appearing anonymously. The introduction by C.M. Ramírez is dated at end "Montevideo, enero de 1883." It was originally published as a study of Quesada in "La Razón," MOntevideo. cf. "Advertencia," v. 1.
