According to Petty's listing this opera was a 'pasticcio' (or patchwork) altered from Francis Colman's libretto 'Ariadne in Crete' and translated by Bottarelli, who also translated into English Goldoni's libretto 'I Viaggiatori Ridicoli' (as stated on thetitle-page).
Libretto only; English and Italian texts on facing pages; main text preceded, after title-page, with 'The Argument' (in English only), and list of 'Personaggi'.
