Camillo Camilli first published his 'Cinque canti aggiunti al Goffredo di Tasso', in Venice, in 1583.
Engraved half-title precedes the letter-press title-page, reading: 'La Gerusaleme Liberata di Torquato Tasso', and with medallion portrait of the author; the engraving bears the monogram: 'AB' [Perhaps Abraham Bosse, painter, designer, engraver, architect and writer; he was born in Tours in 1602 and died in Paris on February 16th, 1676 (Ec. Fr.) [Bénézit].
