This is a documented and synthetic research on the behavior of the leaders of the Chilean Christian Democratic Party, particularly the one relating to its historical inclination toward the Marxist left from its origins as Falange Party (1935), one of the three sectors of young dissidents inside Conservative Party that broke with the party in 1938. Since then act independently, inspired by the political and social philosophy of the French writer Jacques Maritain and the French Popular Republican Movement. Initially fighting private property and capital and see communism "and a desire for social justice that a threat of destruction for the Christian world." Support, as Maritain, the Spanish Republic. This is the position that always prevail in political actions and speeches of its leaders. But as private individuals acting with powerful businessman, will also be entrepreneurs, joining the capital and the large estates and, for generations, maintained a standard of living far removed from his preaching.
