This book is a cookery book that follows the callender year it is divided into months and each month has seasonal recipies and tips and what produce is available and at its best. It is very traditional in its format and illustrations and having owned and used this book for twenty years I can vouch that the recipies are easy to follow and always work even for the novice. The book also has conversion charts and information that covers cooking times, defrosting advice and much more. From making pancakes through to cooking a christmas dinner it is covered and this book has been and continues to be my cooking bible.
