Phil Slattery

Born November 27, 1957, Frankfort, Kentucky

Graduated Eastern Kentucky University (B.A,) in 1980 with a double major of German and Russian. Some graduate school (no degree) in German 1983-84 at the University of Kentucky.

1985-1996 Served in US Navy

1996-1998 Various jobs as a photographer

1998-present. Employed by the National Park Service

In late 2015, founded the Farmington (New Mexico) Writers’ Circle, which focuses on the publicity and marketing of writers works, rather than on the art of writing.

In December 2020, resurrected a long-dead project of establishing an online magazine called The Chamber (ISSN 2836-9467).

In 2021, started Slattery Publishing to bring several of endeavors under one roof.
