1 He is the author and illustrator of three picture books: 'Planet of the Monsters', 'Planet of the Monsters' and 'The Magic Birthday Cake'. His writing career grew initially out of his work as a children's storyteller for the library service of the multi-ethnic London borough of Lambeth. His first two books made a groundbreaking contribution to children's picture book literature in port.aying children of different ethnicities playing shared roles in an adventure context.
