John Watson

John Watson was born in Ayrshire in 1928. He was educated at Ayr Academy and Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh. He spent much of his adult working life, like father before him and son after him, in the agricultural seed industry. John retired in 1983 to write and paint and to pursue unfulfilled ambitions. The Game's good is his first novel.
