A second letter from Mr. George Logan one of the ministers of Edinburgh, to Mr. Thomas Ruddiman Principal Keeper of the Lawyers Library there: Vindicating the celebrated Mr Alexander Henderson minister at Edinburgh, and rector of the College, who had been Moderator of the famous National Assemblies of the Church of Scotland in the years 1638, 1641 and 1643, and one of the Commissioners of this Church to the Assembly of Divines at Westminster; from the vile aspersions cast upon him by Messieurs Sage and Ruddiman, and other high-flying writers, as guilty of great injuries done by him to King Charles I. and as repenting of his conduct and management in publick affairs, from the year 1638, 'till his death, August 12. 1647. With an appendix, containing the letters that past betwixt the King's Majesty and the above Mr. Henderson, at Newcastle, being rare to be had; and the inscriptions on his monument in the Gray-friers Church-yard
