Mitchell Waldman

Mitchell Waldman is the author of the short story collections, BROTHERS, FATHERS, AND OTHER STRANGERS (Blue Lake Books/originally published by Adelaide Books) and PETTY OFFENSES AND CRIMES OF THE HEART (Blue Lake Books/originally published by Wind Publications), and the novel, A FACE IN THE MOON (Writers Club Press, 2000).

His stories, poetry, articles, and essays have appeared in numerous publications, including, among others, The Faircloth Review, The Battered Suitcase, Foliate Oak, Waterhouse Review, Eunonia Review, The Brooklyn Voice, The Big Stupid Review, The Houston Review, Milk Sugar, The Legendary, Litsnack, Connotation Press, Red Fez, Wind Magazine, Wilderness House Literary Review, Eclectic Flash, eFiction Magazine, Poetpourri, Mobius, The Hazmat Review, Poetry Motel, The Advocate, Desperate Act, The Rochester Times-Union, and in the anthologies, BEYOND LAMENT: POETS OF THE WORLD BEARING WITNESS TO THE HOLOCAUST (Northwestern University Press, 1998), AMERICA REMEMBERED (Virgogray Press, 2010), MESSAGES FROM THE UNIVERSE (iUniverse, 2002), LOOKING BEYOND (Scars Publications, 2011), PROMINENT PEN (Scars Publications, 2011), and GREEN (MLM, 2010).

Waldman is also the Fiction Editor for Blue Lake Review (bluelakereview.weebly.com), and was co-editor (with Diana L. May) of the anthologies WOUNDS OF WAR: POETS FOR PEACE (PublishAmerica, 2006), and HIP POETRY (Blue Lake Books/originally published by Wind Publication).

His book reviews have appeared at Scribes World and Midwest Book Review.

Waldman has also written numerous legal articles in American Law Reports, American Jurisprudence 2d, and other legal publications.

Mitchell lives in Rochester, New York, with his partner, Diana May-Waldman, author of the poetry collection, A WOMAN'S SONG.
