Ann Mah was born in Clay Center, Kansas. She received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from Emporia State University. After graduating, she became a high school science teacher. She then went to work for Southern Bell Telecommunications as a telecom engineer, outside line foreman, and regulatory manager. In 2000 she retired and became a professional speaker and trainer. She is currently a State Representative for District 53 in Kansas.
