Dr. John Reizer is a December 1986 magna cum laude graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Born in Lakewood, New Jersey in 1963, he returned home to his native state after graduating chiropractic college and opened two successful chiropractic offices.
Dr. Reizer returned to South Carolina in 1998 after 12 years of private practice. He currently practices in the Sherman College Health Center and supervises interns who are preparing to enter the field of chiropractic.
The author has taught courses in chiropractic technique, x-ray analysis, diagnostic interpretation, chiropractic philosophical applications, and chiropractic communications within the clinical sciences department at Sherman College.
Dr. Reizer holds active memberships in the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA) and the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations (FSCO).
Dr. Reizer is also the co-author of the best selling chiropractic book "Up And Running: Opening A Chiropractic Office." This book has won critical praise from members of the chiropractic profession. "Up And Running" teaches new doctors and senior level students how to build an ethical and successful subluxation-centered chiropractic practice. The book has been a "Best Seller" on Amazon.com within the chiropractic category since May of 2002. The book was also featured in "The Chiropractic Journal" in May of 2003 as well as "Straight From Sherman" the official magazine of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. "Up And Running" (The Second Edition) was indexed and fully updated in January 2008.
Dr. Reizer is also the author of the best selling chiropractic book "15 Secrets to Becoming A Successful Chiropractor" as well as the publication, "Teaching Your Patients Chiropractic."
In January, 2008 Dr. Reizer published two books:"Waist Away: How I Lost 70 Pounds in 7 Months Without Drugs or Surgery and a science fiction conspiracy thriller titled, "Introducing Michael Morris: Countdown to 2012."
In September, 2008 Dr. Reizer published: "Chiropractic Marketing Tools That Will Absolutely Grow Your Practice."
His latest book, "Depression-Proofing Your Chiropractic Career" was published in April of 2009.
