Ricardo A. Scott

Ricardo( Ras Cardo )Scott is the man who created - Reggae- in 1962 in his backyad of trench town , Jamaica in Kingston.
He was a teacher and a mentor to the late reggae greats such as -Bob Marley, and Peter Tosh. He was one of the original wailing wailers group along with his life long boyhood friend- Junior Braithwaite who was tragically assassinated in June of 1999 in Kingston. Junior's murder has yet to be solved and remains one of many Jamaican -cold cases. Ras Cardo aims to find the true killers and see that justice is served.
Over the years he has mentored and taught many students of radiologic technology, not only in the United States but in Canada, Jamaica and other places. He has written and published several books and articles and essays on radiologic technology, Rastafari, Reggae origins, mission and purpose.
He has created and coined many works such as- TECHNOTYRANNICAL SOCIETY, REGGAE OPERA, R.A.S.P.E.C.T-1, ZIGGY SHOT, I.S.A.L.L.A., to name a few.

He created the - REGGAE WAILING WALL- project for trench town to help as a memorial for all those who have died, and those still alive who made a difference in the lives of others. This can be seen on www.gopetition.com. He has the worlds only detailed archives of the original truths about the reggae he created and helped to put into music.
His many ongoing works are now known universally like his statement- A REGGAE EDUCATION FOR A HEALING OF THE NATION. He works for a more peaceful and just world.
He has set the records straight on many of those imposters who will continue to ride the reggae bandwagon for fame and fortune claiming that they created reggae and they were with him and his brethrens in trench town in 1962. Ras Cardo says- "Tell the people the truth". His works are now legendary in helping people.
