Jan Weissmiller

Jan Weissmiller (b. 1954) is an Iowa poet and co-owner of the iconic Iowa City bookstore Prairie Lights. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop, and studied at the undergraduate level at Shimer College and elsewhere. Her works include the collection In Divided Light; she also coedited A Poetry Criticism Reader from the University of Iowa Press. (from Shimer College Wiki)
