Jonathan Griffiths was born in New Zealand in the mid-fifties, hence his depressive outlook on life. He's been the singer of the punk band, Proud Scum, in Auckland and a taxi driver and playwright in Sydney. Since arriving in Melbourne in 1998, he's produced two children, two collections of short stories and three novels.
His published works include three novels, "Eden Unplugged" (2019), “Eden” (2018) and “The Road Behind” (2010), and two collections of short stories: “Walking the Dog” (2014) and “The Bits that Didn’t Fit” (2012).
He’s also had stories published in the following magazines and anthologies: Beyond Words, Sleepers Almanac, Blood, The Other Side, Mysterex and Men Love Sex.
He wrote a short film script, “Seven Minutes” for Sydney's Tropicana Film Festival of 1998.
