Marcus Paul Dare

Marcus Paul Dare (1902-1962), was a composer and author who worked in many genres, particularly history, folklore, ghost stories, guidebooks, church history, archeology, and genealogy.

Dare wrote one collection of uncanny tales, Unholy Relics, published in 1947 by Edward Arnold. Notable among his tales are 'The Demoniac Goat' and 'An Abbot's Magic'. Shortly before his death, Dare gave an interesting talk on 'Ghosts I Have Met' for the BBC Home Service.
