Anthony Thorne

Anthony Thorne lived at Dolphin Cottage on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly for many years.
The cottage was named after his highly successful book Young Man On A Dolphin.
He also had a home in Little Venice, London.
Two of his books were made into movies, So Long At The Fair and The Baby and the Battle Ship. He was widely travelled and particularly fond of Italy -reflected by his wonderful book The Sky Is Italian. His cooking and wine-making were as enjoyable as magical as his writing. He loved the sea.
