Lyn Armstrong was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She had an unconventional upbringing with a free-spirited mother who loved to travel arround the world, no matter the odds against her. She has experienced life in many different cultures, having lived in Australia, England, Portugal, and USA on both sides of the coast, she understands the meaning of adapting to one’s environment. But now the country she now calls home is USA, where the thrill of dodging Floridian hurricanes off sets the paradise of white beaches, blue ocean waters and warm summer breezes. With the biggest readership in the world for her romance novels, Lyn and her family remain in America to follow her dreams as an author.
This self-confessed romantic, has a passion for writing historical romance with an erotic element. As student of New South Wales Writing School, Lyn wrote her first historical romance in the early 90’s after the birth of her daughter. Since then she has been active in the writing community and published articles in the Queensland University Newspaper. She attends Writers Conferences yearly and is committed to a full time schedule of writing. Lyn is a member of Romance Writers of America and Florida Romance Writers. Loving FRW meetings so much, she volunteered as a board member for two years. Having graduated many online writing classes and with a multitude of critique partners, Lyn is constantly finding new techniques in the writing craft.
In 2007, Lyn’s dream of being published came to fruition when Resplendence Publishing offered her a five book contract for the Celtic series. They loved working with her so much, they offered her a position as an Associate Editor. Lyn spends most of her time doing what she loves most… writing about sexy heroes, kickass heroines and their sweeping sagas of romance.
