Oscar Portela

Nace en la Provincia de Corrientes
Argentina y pasa su infancia en el pueblo de Loreto muy cerca de los campos de sus ancestros.

Su padre Modesto Ignacio Portela y su madre Marina Concepción Bofill Gómez de Barreda y dos hermanos .

El Teniente Coronel (Rte) Raul Antonio y el ganadero Humberto Guillermo.

A los 17 años comienza su carrera de periodísta y a los 27 publíca su primer libro.

Desde muy chico trabaja con los grandes clásicos de la Literatura.
