Theodore A. Lehmann

Son of Theodore Lehmann and his wife Paulien Schalaer; children of German and Swiss emigrants. His father owned a butcher shop in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn. Teddy never married and the census indicates he taught music from his parent's home. A cousin recalls him as a violinist. His younger cousins vividly recalled him reciting his poems to his dog Woolly.
