Gari Gold

Born in NY city. Graduated from SVA in 1976 with a BFA. Wrote Crystal Energy in 1987, published by Contemporary Books. After a two, one woman presentations of her work at Perridance Gallery, one of sculpture, the second of embossments she attended Kulicke-Stark Academy for ancient method jewelry making. Gari moved to from Manhattan to Arizona in 1988. Pursuing work as a jeweler and writer and interest in the spiritual, led to writing The New Age A to Z and subsequently, developing an oracle, she named IVATOS.

The oracle IVATOS consisting of metal signs and a casting cloth and book of instructions first became available in the marketplace in 1993. The Wizard's Mirror, a novelized verison of how the oracle came to be became available in 2003. This oracle is a multidimensional project in progress. The Sedona Jewelry Collection is Gari's current interest along with the ever present teaching of classical ballet.
