Bernice Donna Moppin

Bernice Moppin was born in Fresno, California in 1946 and spent much of her early life working in the cotton fields from the age of three. This experience instilled in her a strong work ethic, which she passed on to her five children.

In 19968, Bernice moved to Oakland, CA, where she lived for over a decade before eventually settling in Reno, NV in 1980. Throughout her life, she remained committed to her family and community, and her legacy continues to inspire those who knew her.
