An edition of Siete murales (2016)

Siete murales

The book documents the production of seven murals created by 13 artists from different parts of the world (Argentina, France, Japan, Uruguay, Spain, Chile) between 2012 and 2016 in the neighborhood of Barracas in Buenos Aires, and reflects on the social contribution of the work in the street and enables a visual story of the process of creation and urban intervention. The texts studied the works from a perspective of anthropology, urbanism, design, art in general and street art in particular. Includes works by Franco Fasoli aka "Jaz", architect and artist "Pastel", "El Marian" (Mariano Antedomenico), and Chu (Julian Pablo Manzelli), a founding member of the DOMA art collective, and one of the early pioneers of street art in Buenos Aires.
