At the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century, the so-called House of Loreto of the Novitiate was joined by the Camari n de la Virgen, the chapel destined to preserve the dress and adornments of the image of Mary Most Holy and which stands out for the quality of its design and the exuberant finesse of its baroque ornaments. This dressing room, a unique piece built around 1733, was restored by experts from the Ministry of Culture of the State of Mexico and INAH, in order to restore to its original splendor. The book "shows a fragment of the history of this building, almost 300 years old. In the pages of this volume are outlined the restoration of a space whose ornaments-tiles, paintings and altarpieces, among others-demanded of knowledge and the skill of the collegiate team of specialists, who here describe us, with generosity, the historical, discursive and aesthetic references that led their intervention.
