Subject: Applause, and a suggested correction
This edition of Namenlose Geschichten benefits from the pen and brush work of Fritz Bergen. Bergen's excellent character studies and comic flair nicely complements Friedrich Wilhelm Hackländer's humorous style. The one drawback is that the images may appear a bit muddy at times because of the fine line work.
As to the typo, this edition was published in 1900, not 1800. Given that the author was born in 1816, he would have had a hard time meeting that publishing deadline!
