Subject: A very interesting first hand account
Subject: A very interesting first hand account
It was great to hear first hand what it was like before women's suffrage even occurred. The author tells us of how much of an exciting time it was to be alive, and it's well written. The first half of the book is a short read and I read it in about two hours. The easy-to-read writing style helped it along. If you've got time to kill, you could do worse than learning a few things from this book. (Like how the mob that stormed her boss' house after he raised the British flag over the American one on the Fourth of July, and "Samantha" was considered a strange country name.) Give it a read.
