The first three pages of this correspondence is a letter from Garrison to May; the last page is a brief letter from Everett to May
Garrison accepts an invitation to speak on slavery at a meeting in Leicester. He asks for posters to advertise the meeting. Garrison says that Father Theobald Mathew declined an invitation to the meeting because of a disinclination to commit himself on the question of slavery
Everett says that he invited various friends and acquaintances to the meeting. He hopes that May can induce some Unitarian ministers to attend
