Each t.p. is within the same woodcut architectural border, incorporating female allegories and Carampello's device (Patience). At the top is seated "Regina Virtus," the device of Domenico de' Francheschi, the printer of the original ed. of 1570; see Fowler. Another device appears on the last printed page (Virtus et Fortuna), which Zappella assigns to Pietro de' Francheschi (fig. 1205).
