Subject: Heth and Moab, PEF
Interesting to see this as it was published by A P Watt in London. Watt was my great-grandfather, a literary agent of note, his sons carried on in the firm, Hansard Watt was my father’s father - canny use of military surveying for future operations, under the guise of religionists activity, ironically my dad, K S Watt has maps of Egypt and Libya that date back to the survey and were used by him in WW2 during the fighting conducted by his unit, Desert Rats, 3 Royal Horse Artillery. The family were well known for supporting the PEF, I must visit the country before it’s too late.
