MASS copy: Bound in red calico cloth blocked in gold, black and blind. Upper cover blocked in black with illustration similar to those within the text. Lower cover blocked in blind with central decorative border design that includes signature: "JL" [i.e. John Leighton]. Border design was also used in gold on the cover of McLean Q 0100. Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. With light brown painted endpapers. With presentation inscription dated 1878
