Mounted on verso of leaf interpolated between ã1 and ã2 is MS bibliographical note, in which it is explained that when the library was to be sold by Boze's heirs, it was appraised by two booksellers, Martin and Davids. The Getty copy has been annotated with Martin's estimated price for each entry in brown ink, and with Davids' as well when the two differ. A catalog for the sale was published in 1753 under same title as present work. In the event the library was sold en bloc. The new owners then sold part of the library at auction in 1754. A catalog for this last sale appeared under title Livres provenans de la bibliothèque de feu M. de Boze
