The "Brevissima relacion de la destruycion de las Indias" together with the other seven treatises by Las Casas printed in Seville between 1552 and 1553, eight if the "Lo que se sigue ..." is considered as a separate as it sometimes is, were issued as separates and upon completion of printing, apparently also as a set. They are not always found bound together in the same order nor necessarily in the order in which they were printed, however. Cf. Church, E.D. Discovery, 87-96
