The first part of Aguado's historical work, the original ms. of which has title "Primera parte de la recopilacion historial resolutoria de Sancta Marta y Nuebo Reyno de Granada de la Iudias ..." was published at Bogotá, 1906, with title: "Recopilación historial; escrita en el siglo XVI", and at Madrid, 1916-17, with title "Historia de Santa Marta y Nuevo Reino de Granada".
The second part ends with the death of Lope de Aguirre in 1561.
